As an adult I have always lived by the sea so when we started looking for somewhere to live in Canada it just seemed natural to look along the shores of Lake Ontario. I love being near the water regardless of the time of year, I enjoy walking along the edge of it, bike riding near it or swimming in it. Whether its +30 or -20 I don’t care I just love being by the lake!
The lake’s appearance changes vastly throughout the seasons so today I thought I would share some of my lake photos.
A crisp breezy day in November
A bitterly cold windy day in January, -20C wind chill Brrrrr!
A snowy day in February
A beautiful hot morning in July
A glorious scorching day in August
Looking moody in the calm before the storm as the leading edge of Hurricane Sandy approaches
